Protect the front end of your commercial truck with the INA Equipment Ex-Guard XG-150-VM Deer Guard, Generation 3. Manufactured by Ex-Guard Industries, this XG Series Extreme Duty Plus guard is designed for the all-new Volvo VNL and VNR truck platform.
The XG-150G3-VM features an additional crossbar and a 3-inch taller package compared with the corresponding EX Series guard. The design provides expanded coverage to help protect the bumper, fog lights, radiator, collision mitigation system (CMS), headlights, hood, and grille from front-end hazards.
Constructed from 8-gauge high-tensile steel tubing, the XG-150G3-VM combines high strength with durable one-piece construction. The guard is finished with Ex-Guard's proprietary EVRCoat™ corrosion-resistant PVC coating, designed to resist UV exposure, rust, and road salt.
Generation 3 features include LEVRLock™ dual-cam latches with ergonomic, rattle-resistant handles and Xero-G™ Lift Assist. Xero-G™ reduces the effort required to raise and lower the guard by more than 95%, making routine inspections and under-hood service easier.
Important: A vehicle-specific mounting bracket kit is required for installation and sold separately. For the all-new Volvo VNL application, Ex-Guard specifies the XG-26VNL mounting kit.

The XG-150G3-VM is part of Ex-Guard's VM Series designed for the all-new Volvo VNL and VNR. Exact fitment depends on the truck model, body configuration, axle configuration, and required vehicle-specific mounting hardware.
Mounting Bracket: A vehicle-specific Ex-Guard mounting bracket kit is required for installation and is sold separately. For the all-new Volvo VNL, the applicable bracket kit is XG-26VNL.
CMS Compatibility: Ex-Guard XG Generation 3 guards are ClearZone® CMS compatible. Ex-Guard states that its Generation 3 XG and EX guards have been tested and verified by the collision mitigation system radar manufacturer to fall within the established verification zone while avoiding radar keep-out zones. Proper vehicle-specific fitment and installation are required.

- Verify the exact Volvo model, body configuration, axle configuration, and required mounting hardware before ordering.
- The listed 230 lb. guard weight does not include vehicle-specific mounting brackets.
- Use appropriate lifting equipment and safe handling procedures during installation.
- Follow all manufacturer installation instructions and applicable torque specifications.
- After installation, verify that the guard does not interfere with headlights, sensors, cameras, radar, steering, or other vehicle systems.
- CMS functionality depends on proper vehicle-specific fitment and installation. Do not modify the guard or mounting system in a way that could affect CMS operation.
- Do not modify, cut, drill, weld, or otherwise alter the guard or mounting brackets unless specifically authorized by the manufacturer.
- Inspect the guard, mounting hardware, latches, and brackets regularly for damage, looseness, cracks, corrosion, or excessive wear.
- Make sure both LEVRLock™ latches are fully engaged and secured before operating the vehicle.
