The Ex-Guard® XG-150G3 Generation 3 Grille Guard delivers premium extreme-duty front-end protection for set-back axle trucks. Its extra crossbar and 3-inch taller design provide increased protection for the bumper, fog lights, radiator, collision mitigation system (CMS), headlights, hood, and grille.
ClearZone® CMS Compatible: Ex-Guard XG and EX Generation 3 guards have been tested and verified by a collision mitigation system (CMS) radar manufacturer to operate within the established “Verification Zone” while avoiding “Keep-Out Zones,” helping the CMS function properly. Verified for Freightliner®, Kenworth®, Peterbilt®, International®, Volvo®, Mack®, and Western Star® trucks as of August 1, 2024.
LEVRLock™ Latches: Two third-generation LEVRLock™ latches feature an ergonomic design and rattle-resistant construction for secure, convenient access during inspections and maintenance.
Xero-G™ Lift Assist: Integrated Xero-G™ Lift Assist reduces the effort required to raise and lower the guard by more than 95%, making access for under-hood inspections significantly easier.
Extra Crossbar & Added Height: The XG-150G3 features 5 crossbars and a 3-inch taller design than the comparable EX-150G3, providing maximum front-end coverage in the XG Series.
License Plate Bracket Included: The fully adjustable stainless steel XG-LP10 license plate bracket is included with the XG-150G3.
Mounting Bracket Sold Separately: The vehicle-specific mounting/deer guard bracket kit is required for installation and sold separately. The correct bracket kit depends on the truck make, model, bumper configuration, and application.
